Stipends, Vacation & Policies


Stipends

Stipends for the 2009-2010 academic year beginning July 1, 2009 are as follows:

PG2 $47,732

PG4 $52,127

The residents of the Division of Urologic Surgery are also provided with a small stipend to subscribe to journals, purchase books or use for professional travel. Residents who have papers accepted for legitimate academic meetings are given financial assistance for travel expenses.

Vacations

House officers are entitled to a maximum of 21 days paid vacation and/or educational time annually or a fraction thereof, if the appointment period is less than one year.

Moonlighting

Moonlighting is prohibited.
